you can start a Windows Defender Offline scan from Windows Defender Antivirus Settings. Select Start , and then open Windows Defender Security Center > Virus & threat protection > Scan history > Advanced Scans > Windows Defender Offline > Run Scan.
Create a new folder to store the data
Click offline scan but please note it requires a reboot as well
